I use gilded apples as a reference to the type of life I do not want, all the time. To appear to be of great value and beauty on the outside, yet rotten and unusable on the inside. I use to accept gilded gifts all the time…friendships, relationships, jobs, love. But for 2012 all I want and need is purity and truth. I don’t need flash or shininess on the outside…I’m in search of the beauty of the apple on it’s own, without all the extras!!
